I have received a missed call from this number. It only rang a couple of times. I called back and it rang out. What can they hope to gain?

i have received 2 'missed calls' from this number in the past few weeks.  When i ring it back it rings out.   It has a NSW area code but i have no one i know there who would want to ring me.  Seems a bit suspicious.  It's not a fax number (as has occurred before) as it rings fine when i ring it back, just that no one answers.

yeah I got calls from this number, thank God I didn't answer.
