I received a call from this number & a woman with a very thick Indian accent (with numerous Indian voices in the background, obviously from an Indian call centre) said "Hello sir, I'm calling you from Telstra on behalf of NBN". Telstra is not my NBN provider (& this is not a Telstra company number), so I immediately suspected this was a scam call. I responded "If you're going to try to scam people in Australia, learn to use an Australian accent, to which she responded "No sir, this is not a scam". I hung up. I suspect the Indian call centre routed this call from India through (02) 4296 9586 to my mobile.
