They are a company called Vesper Networks, they appear to be a reseller of Vodafone servces. They called me telling me I was a valued customer of Vodafone of many years (which I am) and that I was eligible for a 24 month plan for a Samsung Galaxy III Tablet for $37 a month (usually $79 a month) with free delivery. They knew a surprising amount of info including my name, address, email address, and moble number. I stupidly "confirmed" my Vodafone 4 digit pin and then they asked for my drivers licence and medicare card numbers. I promptly hung up and called Vodafone and changed my 4 digit pin instantly. Vodafone customer service (and their supervisors) knew nothing about an arrangement between themselves and Vesper Networks.

Hi All,

I found this facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/vodafoneau/posts/10151818943202617?stream_ref=10

Might be worth letting Vodafone now about your frustration.

Spammers, supposedly from Vodafone! Looks like sub-contractors working on commission - their standard technique seems to be to call you and hang up as soon as you pick up (as if the call got cut off) - when you call back, they will start their sales pitch! The trick seems to be to make YOU PAY for a STD sales call! Very very sneaky - I gave them a piece of my mind.

TOTAL waste of time, these calls! Just beyond a joke the number of times they phone (and various hours). When I do answer there's nobody even there!
Call 1300 VESPER and tell them to take you off their list. I've been getting calls almost daily, same as everyone else.
I've called Vodafone twice, to no avail as I am still getting these calls. I spoke to the first person who answered who tried valiantly to explain why was receiving these (unsolicited) calls..... let's see if it works this time! But I recommend everyone who finds this page call that 1300 VESPER number. The girl knew exactly what I was talking about, at least.

I am getting calls almost every second day. Not that I would ever go with Vodafone but if I was thinking about it this would have put me off for sure. Not a smart way to increase business

Hey gang,

I just left repeated emails on the website http://vespernetworks.com.au/contact/

Just to show my annoyance at them calling me. Suggest you do the same.

Yep it was Vesper Networks trying to get me to sign back up with Vodafail. Asked them to never call again.

wow this is interesting because I have never been a Vodafone customer! It's so annoying! I get a call every few months (not as harrassed as everyone else) but they hang up instantly. Grrr

It is a company called Vesper Networks, they are a representative of vodafone. They have very rude marketing techniques and poor service. It took me about 20 attempts at getting back through to them. My advice call vodafone, they knew exactly what i was talking about. I'm not even a vodafone customer anymore, absolutely hate what they do.

Just called this number back from a Landline and asked that I be removed from the calling list - She had to call my mobile back in order for this to be done.

First time I answered this number I got unintelligible babble. I asked if they had the wrong number and they hung up. Now I get called once every couple of days and if I call them I get music. Very annoying!

Bargh! I've been getting a call from this number - never pick it up and every time there's a voicemail with background noise for a few seconds. Have had a call from this number at least once every couple of days- today it was twice.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well at least 10 times a day even though I answered once and told them I wasn't interested in joining Vodafone. I called Vodafone who confirmed that they were currently running a sales campaign to promote the new changes to their network. I told them to stop the calls and they put in a request to remove my number from the sales campaign. Haven't received a call since.

Same as everyone else they ring continuously and then hang up. I too like everyone else on here was a vodafone customer and changed because of poor service.
