Rang three times today, did not pick up and no message. Sick of these mongrels they cause a lot of stress to the elderly. Time to stop them, not hard for Telstra or gov to catch them. Don’t suppose they care. Telstra making money, gov don’t care.

Aaargh. So tired of these calls. How is it that with all our mind boggling technological knowledge and its sophisticated application we have not been able to figure out a way to stop the scammers? The fact that they are still in operation suggests they meet with success. Sadly it is the vulnerable elderly (and the naive) who suffer the most. The rest of us just have to put up with the nuisance factor. If we educated everyone who owned a computer on how to spot a scam then surely the scammers would become an extinct species. Be gone with them.

Started calling a couple of days ago, when i was at work, no message, but called 4 times one day, that's always an indicator that its a scammer calling. so i checked the number out saw all these comments. I have a panasonic phone that is about 3 years old that allows me to block numbers (doesn't work with "overseas" or private numbers though). Checked out a few new phones and they all have the ability to block numbers. So if you're constantly getting harassed, I would suggest getting a new phone and blocking these scammers!

Several missed calls a day ... last one a minute ago. Thank you for the warnings here which stopped me picking up. I don't understand why these numbers are not investigated as soon as it's established that they are scamming people.

I've been getting calls from this number for over 2 months. Called Telstra to get the number blocked. No joy. Bought a call guardian 301. No more annoying calls and it works out of the box. In the absence of the telco's putting in an automated call blocking service linked to this website, individuals have to buy hardware or software to stop these prats.

Calling to advise that I’d been hacked and my WINDOWS computer was being used to assist scammers. Only OS I don’t run. Told me that he was a cyber security expert. Wasn’t able to give me the IP address of my computer. Hung up when I asked him basic questions re where he got his information.

Spam or scam. Don't trust the number. When you try and call it back it says the number has been disconnected. Very suspicious
