Caller: Sounded like they had an Asian accent, but spoke good English. Similar story here. Called about 7:20, Tue 3/09/24. Claimed to be MTS Travel Planners with the same story that other people have commented on. He tried to get me online with a phone or laptop, so I hung up and switched off my modem. I am in Adelaide, and he knew my current address. I cloud be a trick to steal your personal details ( bank accounts etc.).

Caller: Man Some scammer pretending to be travel agent, said I had one a free stay with hotel/holiday. He quoted my address that was from 10 years ago. Kept asking who I travel with and wouldn’t answer my question about how I won this if I didn’t sign up. I asked so many question he got mad and hung up, then called me back I didn’t answer the second time (iOS/iPhone shows the number as Wollongong)

If I don’t know a number and caller doesn’t leave a message I assume it is either a scam or nuisance call.

Calling at 9pm at night has got to be illegal.. i didn’t even pick up, even when the caller said ‘hello…hello’. Numbers that start with 02 don’t get answered, all of them are scams.

Caller: MTS Planners (?) Travel consultants Supposedly I had entered a competition and had won 6 nights accommodation at holiday resorts Australia-wide for a mere $300+. First red flag was that it was at 9pm! Female caller sounded Filipino. Had my name and street address but wrong suburb (boundary had changed years ago).
