Caller: Scammer Knew my first name but they did butcher the pronunciation (my name is a very common name). Ask how they were and they hung up

I thought I’d be nice for once. Clicked on ‘Answer’ but didn’t feel like talking to an overseas telemarketing nuisance about solar batteries, so I didn’t say anything. Strangely, the caller hung up. Obviously a very important call. Is it any wonder we don’t answer calls anymore. Surely their system will work it out that we’re not suckers.
