Scam number pretending to be ATO.

Got a call yesterday from this number and it was those Indian fake ATO scammers. Best thing to do is play along with them and waste as much of their time as possible!!!

Beware scam - Recorded message

Message states that they are calling from the ATO requesting the either you or your lawyer return their call before the police show up at your door or place of work.

This is the second call I have received today. The another number they are using is (02) 6145 2490

Had this go to voicemail. A recorded message stating to have lawyer call before police turn up at my address or place of employment . Upon check up others have reported it as claiming to be ATO etc. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Computer voice telling me the ATO is wanting to fine me if I don't call them back. Standard tax scam.

This is an Scammer using a recording service calming to be from the ATO asking you to call back on this number saying if you don't the sheriff will visit you and take you to jail.

The ATO DO NOT ring people and Threaten you with the Sheriff, just ignore this call and block the number.

When I answered I got Robo announcement saying final warning from Australian Govnt. However the accent was American, I suspect a scam.

Claiming they were from ATO and wanted me to call back

Prank caller that left one of those robotic msgs that the police have arrived at your property and to return call.

Running a ATO scam

Taped final warning saying they are from the department in an American voice. Named & shamed on Facebook. SIck of these types of calls.

Robocall suggesting they are from the Director of Public Prosecutions and that the Federal Police are acting for the Australian Taxation Offfice.

Dodgy accent give it away

This number is a scam. It's a taxation fraud inquiry wanting either yourself or your lawyer to call back. This is the third time I've received these calls from various numbers. Be aware!!!!! . . . and definitely don't call them back.

Automated message claiming it's from tax department and threatening police will come if I don't call back.

The old ATO scam. Director of Public Prosecutions is coming to arrest you for unpaid tax bill/tax fraud. Rang twice in one hour.

When answered no-one responds.
