Scam, claims to be ATO auditing department.

It's a scam - Left a automated voicemail threatening to "have me arrested" if I didn't call back. Ignore it :)

Caller: Scammers (ATO)

Automated voice call came through saying they were the ATO taking out a law suit against me and there is a warrant for my arrest. Called them back and got some Indian man who hung up straight away

it is what i assume to be a fake call from the 'taxation office' about a 'lawsuit investigation'

Caller: Pre recorded message

Purports to be from Australian Taxation Office. Threatens to issue an arrest warrant for unpaid taxes unless you get back to them.

Caller: Recorded message said tax department

When called first time call failed second time the person wanted my name and address to find out who called me. He had heavy accent difficult to understand the background sounded clearly as a call centre. Got disconnected.

The automated message says this is a call from ATO and there is some sort of lawsuit being filed. If the call is not returned, there would be an arrest warrant issued.

SCAM! States ATO are issuing arrest warrant if you do not call the number provided. 100% scam.

Scam called pretending to be the ATO.
Makes demands and then threatens action if payment not received.
HANG UP ON THE LOWLIFE.
