I couldn't get the call and a few minutes latter I did call back... no answer, just on hold and music... the msg couldn't be recorded being full.
It could be scam, spam or who knows...

I stupidly entered Samsung competition "win an iPhone7". It's a scam. Been bombarded with telemarketing callers ever since, even though I answered NO to all the questions. Calls keep coming in loops from NSW, VIC, SA, WA. I go onto reverseaustralia.com and put in the number, then block it on my phone, then look at all the other numbers maybe associated with it and also add them to my phone and block them also. My list is growing daily.

Nigerian scammers working it in Australia. Beware they are here! Also can buy Australian numbers from overseas providers as I get a voice message "the person on extension 501 is unavailable please leave a message after the tone" and operator sounds American. Loads of African scammers in America also and globally!

A nonsense person has called yesterday from (08) 6558 0596 and was talking about from 24/7, just hang up!

I called back number (08) 6558 0596 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.

I also received a call from (08) 6558 0596. By the time I answered they hung up. When I did a call back they answered with 24/7. Any one have any ideas as to whom they might be.

I entered my phone number on a web site claiming I could make money on the stock market for no investment (stupidly). I never received any information but, instead, have had never ending calls from telemarketers since. It was called "Quantim" or something. This seems to be another one of the numbers calling me.

Just got a call from (08) 6558 0596 and no answer. I have just reported the number to the ACCC. Maybe they can do something about it and investigate.

If this number is a scammer then doesnt the seller of the number have a duty of care to check the buyer of the number is buying it for legitimate purposes AND is mindful of privacy requirements?
