These calls are auto computer failed. Once you answer no actual person is there and the call disconnects. However the computer has logged that you answer so lists your call for an actual person to make a call back. Common tool for scammers and telemarketers. Computer can call thousands of numbers randomly in an hour. Itay take a day or two for the follow up call to be made. Definitely used by suspect companies

This number rang me and a David Martin left a message saying that an arrest warrant was in place for unpaid taxes and fraudulently claimed taxes and that my address was under surveillance. Obviously a scam trying to secure funds from some poor frightened person. Ignore. Reporting this to the ATO

I used to get heaps of these scam calls. I would block the number each time a new one called but now I've found if you reject the call when they are calling they dont call again - give it a try its worth a shot!

Calls apper to come from mycharity.comwhich is a coy., providing a platform for orgs doing fundraising. They have heaps of phone numbers and calls can appear to come from WA, SA or NSW (so far). Most originate from o/s call centres tho. They are simultaneously computer dialed and the line goes dead if you are not the first of the many called, to answer. More like a telemarketer than a real charity i reckon!

I phoned this number and got a recorded message. This phone number is MyCharity and reckon they may call back in the future and said I can also contact them on their website mycharity. com

Same here, you answer and there is no body there, don't think they have hung up as no dial tone so i hang up immediately and block number. I get these a lot all diff numbers but all start with (02) so i just block now and dont pick up but as I live in adelaide and don't know anyone in sydney or melb its easy to not answer.

Have called me once everyday for last 7 days, I tried returning the call but they never have a free operator. My Charity Survey.com is who they identify as in the message, an offshore call centre of sorts I imagine due to the heavy accent of the messagebank. I have now blocked that number.

This number belongs to someone selling funeral insurance. They have now called me many times from different numbers. Mostly they just hang up.
