Have had seven attempts by this crowd today. Persistent or down right stupid.

hang up when I answer. called back got answering machine saying "mycharity.com"

Comes up as overseas -so never bother to answer . Usually have overseas calls but this is the first with an actual number.

I've had five calls from this number on my work mobile. They never leave a message, so I just don't get why they keep calling if I never answer it?

This dude rang my mobile number then just hung up --- out of curiosity I ran the number back on my home number which is a confidential un-listed number and was directed to a web site
of www.mycharitysuvey.com which does not exist------authourities should BAN these drop kicks from possessing a phone

Indians stating its for charity but can't advise where they got my ph number from or with what permission they have to call. I blocked their number, I've told them to remove my details at once.

SPAM. I ignored all calls and added to rejected list.

The Charity angle is just a front.
Be warned, they will attempt to harvest further details from you to determine if you are a ripe target for future scams (name, australian citizen, state details the attempted to get from me...gave them all false details). If they get these details from you, they will have enough to harvest further info from the internet (facebook should be BANNED!) and hit you with a well setup scam (they will come across as knowing all your details...because you gave it to them...)
(try answering the next call from this number with a vague 'I am a sucker' type voice....they will then pickup. Answer the phone with confidence, they will drop the call.)
