Called me today - i answered - it immediatley hung up on me - i called back - the number is disconnected???

Getting lots of these calls now. Pretty annoying. They just hang up when I answer.

Same. Showed as a missed call and when I try to return it, Optus advises that it is a disconnected number. Fake number displaying from caller?

Spam or scam... Today, around 3pm I've got a call on my landline from this number (02) 3456 7891 ... I did answer but they hung up on me after 5 seconds.

Calls a couple of times a week and just hangs up. When I called the number back it was a recorded message stating the number has been disconnected. Dodgy as.

Looks like this is a fairly new number, going from the dates on the posts.
Who is going to answer a number like that?
I let it go to the answering machine, but they hung up without leaving as message.

He said his name was Jason. He had a funny accent. Wanted to speak to my husband, I told him he was at work asked me if I dealt with advertising and went on to ask how much we spend on yellow pages and other businesses. I told him we were happy with what we had and I hung up.

Picked up a call from this number and there was no person on the other end. The call was terminated by the other party and each time I ring the number back I receive a Service Provider message stating that 'We regret that the number you have dialled is incomplete or incorrect, please check the number and dial again. O2PU11 30'

Was travelling between Annadale and Burwood (Sydney) when this occured.

spam phone call, just like other telemarketing company, calls a few time during the day to check when you are in office or at home, hand up immediately after answering and call back another time trying to sell you things.

Rang several times but don't reply when I answer phone...Number does not look right????
