Caller: Third Party Claims Management Company

Had a call from this number, new my name (I have been affected by Optus and Medicare data breaches so maybe that's how?) Anyhow lady with thick Indian accent after checking she's speaking to the right person rambles off quickly where she's calling from and proceeds to tell me that they will be assessing my CTP insurance claim for a recent vehicle accident. I respond that I haven't been in any vehicle accidents to which she responds that they deal with passenger and public transport CTP claims, again I reply that I haven't been in an accident. She sounds very confused because you know that's why she's calling me, I then ask her which company as I couldn't catch it at the beginning and she responds 'Third Party Claims Management Company'. I asked who they manage claims for and she is confused, so then I prompt by asking which insurer - apparently they're independent. I asked for a website and she gave the same name. Finished the call and said I would be reporting them

Calling for an insurance call. I've worked in insurance for a decade and a half. I strung them along for 5 minutes, got bored and gave it up, she didn't give up. 12 minutes after me asking her to give me their solicitor's name she kept bringing up, any identification for myself, any legal information and fake addresses that don't list their company which they can't answer any questions about, and any details about anything in particular besides wanting information from me, she finally gave up. She persisted so hard it almost had me believin
