Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

It is Mater Lotteries.... I do support them, when I can, but stop calling me, I cannot answer my personal phone in work time, they never leave a message... and if you then call it back, the recorded message says we will contact you... which means, you are going to miss the call... I buy the tickets, when I want, from the website via the emails they constantly send.... so I have also blocked this number.

Caller: Unknown Number - Mobile Many years ago I worked for a telemarketing organization in Victoria who were contracted by various companies to make telephone sales calls on their behalf. During my time with these companies I learned quite a lot about the crap telemarketers have to endure from members of the public who assume each person who calls them from Australia (or other English speaking countries with Australian accents) knows what their meal times, their personal circumstances or challenges within their families are. We who have worked in these fields understand your frustrations because WE ALSO have telephones AND have received similar calls. The difference between us, is we who have worked in this field know these calls are not scammers, hackers or thieves, (sounds like a song from Cher, doesn't it). They are from people trying to make an honest living working for a company providing a service for other companies who do not wish to have their sales staff put up with the crap dished out by persons who know no better and are looking for someone to bitch about because they are not smart enough to know how to find a telephone number to call MPH. I have been purchasing tickets from MPH and others for quite a while and each time I have needed to speak with callers I have found all of them bar none to be totally respectful toward me and very helpful with my requests; - Of course being respectful myself goes a long way toward a great outcome. These calls originate from a telemarketing company contracted by Mater Lotteries for Mater Prize Homes. The calls are a service provided by MPH to ensure those who have purchased tickets previously may wish to do so again. If you do not wish to be contacted anymore, do the right thing and call MPH on the number listed on their website (or their email address) and let them know you no longer wish to be contacted by them. They will then take you off their list. See https://www.materlotteries.com.au/about/privacy However because you have requested this remember YOU are the one who asked for this to happen. When you no longer receive marketing material from MPH, you will then know it is because A PERSON WITH YOUR NAME requested it. And if you feel YOU have a better way of contacting people who may have forgotten, offer you own services to MPH and others free of charge so you can represent charities in the manner you believe they should be represented.

Caller: Mater lotteries This number belongs to Mater lotteries. They sell tickets to win a multi million dollar property as well as cars and gold bullion, the money spent on tickets goes to the Mater children's Hospital. This is not a scam nor is it a hacker.

Didn't recognise the number left it to call out, then went to voice mail and sounded like it was in a call centre but didn't leave me a message.

Caller: Mater Lotteries Annoying as I have asked 3 times to be taken off the list. The continued annoyance means I no longer buy a ticket from them and support a different organisation.

Caller: Bogan Aussie Wanker A real ocker bogan idiot too busy bragging in the background to the other call-centre workers - despite being the one to call ME... Bragging he's gonna score 30 BUCKS.... Im like who the f*ck are you?? OH IM FROM MATER HOME PRIZE, and called me by name - I said well I'm obviously not interested so take me off your list, you're incredibly unprofessional and not going to "Score" anything with your trashy tactics... I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager in charge - suddenly he's all oh well I'd need to confirm your details - when he literally just said my name. Dodgy AF. I called him out and he got rude saying "we raise funds for cancer research" so indignant because he got found out.. Blcoked Number. I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH MATER EVER AGAIN after these tactics. I supported them ONCE, and so did my Aunt who passed away. Never again, NO INTEGRITY WHAT SO EVER.
