Caller: Scam/Telemarketer

Multiple calls - just breathing on the line. Call previous day came from 0485 901 005 which is a spam/scam caller. Seems this number range my be getting used by scammers.

I’m getting daily calls from this scam number

several calls from this number, when I pick up there is silence and then hang up. Possibly trying to get you to say something to record your voice for one of those scams - don't say anything!

If no message is left, it can't be important, therefore just block it

Have called everyday for the last 3 days but left no message ( my voicemail says to leave one or I won’t call back at all) - seems dodgy

Scam

Stated they are from Princess Alexandra Hospital and want a donation for disease research. Wouldn't take no for an answer and kept bargaining the donation amount down.

They called me today claiming that they are from National Breast Cancer Foundation Verification Centre. I did not give my new card details as it sounded a bit suspicious then they told me all my donation history to prove that they’re legit.

Reading that they called you claiming to be from RSPCA, it just confrms it to be a scam!!

Caller: Clever Contacts (RSPCA)

Comes up as Clever Contacts but says they're calling on behalf of rspca. Long spiel about all their good works & how desperate they are for money. Even when you say no, they don't give up, just keep dropping the suggested "donation" amount.

Have had almost daily calls from numbers like this, with variations of the last 3 digits. Never leave a voicemail. Called them back & got recorded message for Clever Contacts who were unable to take my call. Sounds like Spam. Already have 4 of their numbers blocked. Adding this one too.

Calling every day for over a week, even though I’ve blocked the number. When I first called it back, number is for Clever Contacts. Appears to be a scam as others have mentioned.

A representative from RSPCA called me to thank me for my contributions to their charity. Seemed legit although it looks like other may have a different idea:)

3 calls in 3 days, answered the first and then they hung up within seconds, have ignored the remaining calls

Called every day and has not left a voice mail except on the first day, which was just a breath. Scam/spam call without a legitimate intention to contact.

i receive a call daily from this number. I don't answer, and they dont leave a message.

This was a call supposedly from RSPCA but honestly felt like a scam as they kept asking for donations and a credit card number.
