purporting to be from Telstra offering 50% discount on bills for a period of time (12 months I think) due to recent customer dissatisfaction with Telstra. I happen to be a Telstra customer and she did know my email address which she sent a code to and asked for me to repeat for her. The code is received from Microsoft (not Telstra). This is a known scam with Telstra and an attempt to hack your personal email account.

A little more sophisticated than other scams as the woman read well from her script and was more convincing than scammers in the past. But definitely one to decline and block if a phone call is received.
