I received many missed calls from this number and I decided to pick up the call. The operator said I did a survey online, which I didn't !! I said I m not interested and they keep calling me everyday. Please don't bother to answer their call or block the number.

I've received about 6 calls from this number. They tell me they are calling me because I filled out a survey on cars (don't think I did) and they are selling roadside assistance. I worked out the costs involved with their roadside assistance and it's about the same as what I'm paying already and I said no. They keep calling back though. The last 2 calls I've received from them no-one actually spoke to me, I could hear very loud background noise (like other consultants playing around etc) and on the last call - no talk at all, after about 30 seconds just loud coughing in my ear and again the loud background noise. I've said the call type is telemarketer, but it could very well be a scam. Their payment plan was that you pay 4 instalments and then no more. So, it could be that it is a scam that they want the money paid up quickly possibly before you know that it is a scam.

They are definitelt from some company/scam trying to convince me i filled in a survey about road side assistance online. I told them no i didnt. And they kept trying to convince me that i had and that i probably just dont remember. And i told her, why would I fill in such a survey if i dont even have a car. Plus she had the nerve to tell me i filled in the survey 2 weeks ago. I told her i wasnt interested and she hung up. But i am still receiving calls from them even though i blocked their number.

I just had the same thing happen to me. The said i completed a survey and they had my name email and phone number. Pretty hard to complete a survey for road side assistance when I dont even have a car.... I told them to delete my details and I hang up on the guy.

I'm suddenly getting calls from this number, each day at a certain time, must be computerised. A real pain. Will never deal with these people because of this as a matter of principle.

Just received a called from an Asian ?? Lady called Ryan advising I have been selected to receive 5 Years free Roadside assistance + $500 towards acomodation holiday.
She advised she was calling from Warranties Made Easy never heard of them !!
Told her outright I thought this was a scam !! she advised me to look at their Website www.warantiesmadeeasy I asked where she was calling from she stated there Office was in Melbourne but she was calling from Queensland !!
I looked at the website but was directed to this page as I advised her this was sounding more & more like a scam she then became defensive she then stated about Australian Laws about Scams this made me more than uneasy as stated to her there are more & more overseas companies scammers phoning us everyday at the risk of sounding racists with all the little indians etc with their mobile deceptions that plagued us in earlier years if it had been an Australian I probably nay have listen longer her fatal failure was when she stated with the mentality you are displaying you have obviously been caught before I would have to Answer Yes to Queensland anything that even suggest a link to this state raises my hair with caution it appears that Victoria & Queensland have laxed laws for these scammers to operate. WARRANTIES MADE EASY may be a fair dinkum company who knows ?? I feel with the outrageous prices NRMA are currently charging people are looking at alternatives which is the perfect grounds for scammers to prey upon !!
I've been with the NRMA for roughly 20 years ( Actually since 1975 but NRMA doesn't recognise that ) have called for roadside probably twice a year or less my current renewal for 5 years for Classic Care is $488.30 am I looking elsewhere Yes !! I'm even thinking of dropping it completely we have three cars to cover all these would be around roughly $1500 !! Food for thought AAMI are offering Roadside with Comprehensive Insurance maybe my NRMA Comprehensive will be changed to AAMI who knows ?? If you receive any of these calls be very wary of what information you give out over the phone until you are absolutely sure you are dealing with a reputable company !!
