Persistent and rude. Talks over you. Made out they are connected to Telstra. Told them no repeatedly. Very argumentative.

Called me 7 - YES 7 times - & you know when they don't leave a message that it's a hassle call. When I called back - an American answer line said they don't take calls, but leave a message......the usual block.

i suspect skip tracing
Posted on October 6, 2015 Caller type: Unknown Location: Australia
read online people say that answering these calls reaults in a supposed telstra representative wanting to check if you can get better rates.
skip tracers often go in using false information to obtain your details then pass them along to a debt collecter whos been tracking you down. i used to be a debt collector.
if tou owe money to creditors i suggest you contact them and advise them to stick to the law so you dont have to contact FOS.
FOS is the ombudsman service where you can take complaints if you believe youre being treated unfairly by a creditor.
if they do an investigation youll find them more favourable if you have attempted or asked for hardship from your creditor first and are making repayments to the extent of your ability. it could be $5 a week if thats all you can afford.
short of going bankrupt this is often the best option for you if you are in too much debt.
also call telstra and report this number and ask if its a marketing campaign they really have.

They say they are from Telecom and its about cheaper residential land line, told them i don't have a residential land line so she kept talking over the top of me. Asked where she got my number from and response was i apparently filled out a survey online, i dont do online surveys so she told me a family member must've done the survey. when i asked her to take my number off their call list she kept telling me she was under obligation to make me her offer. after repeatedly telling her to take my number off their call list i got a call 20 mins later from the same number. Frustrating, I have now blocked this number.......
