I answered but then the call ended. I tried to call back twice, but each time the number is unavailable due to a "technical difficulty". Highly suspicious, and now blocked.

Recorded message on other end - message was about unauthorised deductions from my Visa card, and to press 1 to speak to an operator. I simply ignored it. I checked with bank later and there were no unusual transactions on the Visa card.

It was an automated message that was left as I didn't answer. The voice said that said that I had $200 deducted from my ebay and press 1 if I want to get a refund plus some other rubbish. Second call in 2 days so its now blocked

I believe this to be a scam - computer generated voice saying money has been taken from my Visa account about an Ebay purchase, or something like that - I immediately and quickly hung up and blocked this number. Doing a number search shows it seems to be a consistent thread that this is highly likely a scammer. Thanks for taking time to post and inform!
