When you see the number come up, just answer the phone with some police title (Officer Hastings), and advise them that they have called a crime scene, ask what relationship they have with the deceased and ask them for all their personal particulars. They hang up and strike you from their call register :D

A man from this number rang about ten times within ten minutes, repeatedly making obscene sexual references. I reported this to police while he was on the phone, then rang my provider and had the number blocked. I suspect this may be in response to refusing to participate in earlier calls (which I think we're from the same number) regarding problems with my computer, a car accident ('some time in the past year'), and solar panels - all bogus. It is very poor that this is a known problem number and that they aren't being shut down or prosecuted.

The caller claimed to be from Telstra and wanted to fix my computer

Calling at 9.50pm at night. Complete annoyance. Answer phone to stop it ringing & waking kids & can hear call centre but no one talks, they just hang up.

Took a call from (02) 4369 2755. Said they were from Telstra. Asked me to confirm that I was the person they thought I was. I said that they should tell me whether I was that person, and how would they know if I was that person or not, regardless of what I told them (for example, if I lied to them). They seemed stumped by this and proceeded to explain that my ADSL2+ service was corrupted, but not to worry because they would walk me through the fix step by step. I said that I don't have an ADSL2+ service, nor an internet service with Telstra. Bloke waffled on and on about my internet problem and read out some bogus IP address. I told him that I didn't believe a word he said, that I'm not the person he thinks I am, and that he should move on and try his little scam on someone else. I hung up. They tried calling a few more times, but I decided to clip my toenails instead. Funnily enough, the internet is working fine now.

This scammer needs to be shut down. Any suggestions.

Frequent calls - at least one a week, noise but no-one there. Why can't telstra block these mongrels????

Tuesday 29th March I received a death threat from this number. The male caller described how he was going to kill me with his arsenal of weapons and that this was my last day on earth....

Just received a call from this number - Christina in fact who wanted to speak to me about my Telstra internet connection. I told her that my internet is not with Telstra and she was a scammer and she immediately hung up.

This has to be stopped, at least 3 calls per day over the last few weeks (so far). I have been answering these calls and I have found if you interrupt their spiel, which is always the same, they have to go back to the beginning and start again. If I continue to do this, they do become annoyed and hang up. This does work, if you can be bothered.!!! These people are totally rude, hanging up instantly if they don't like what you are saying. If you ask for their phone number, so you can ring them, they usually hang up as well. These so called 'call centres' must be closed down. TOTAL SCAM. These people also prey on the elderly, so please try and inform your relatives and friends. Surely our Govt and police services could do something to stop this???

This number calls every day and then just hangs up!! Very annoying. Call back and the number is disconnected.

Caller has called a number of times a week. Recognise the number and normally don't pick up. When have picked up been nobody there. This number is listed to Coles Supermarket. I mean really when are Coles, The Police and/or the Telecommunications providers going to do something about this?

I have had many, many calls from this number, including obscene calls, a call per minute over a sustained period and calls very early on a Sunday morning. Today a call from 'Telstra' offering to fix my non Telstra internet. I put in a complaint to ACMA http://www.acma.gov.au/ a couple of months ago. Have heard nothing to date. Others could do the same. It might elevate the problem.

(02) 4369 2755 Has tried calling 25 march 2016 15:00, 15:49 and 17:58. Also 26 Mar 2016 at 10:12. I have set my phone feature not to ring and give an engaged tone to this number, thanks to this site. It's about time we "victims" had a site like this to get back at these pests.

Young foreign voice advised someone is hacking my computer and they are from Telstra and want to stop it. Don't be fooled they are trying to get your identity. Scammers

Received several calls from this number today, three of which I answered (4, so far, I haven't). First time I spoke to him it sounded "call centerish" and when asked how I was I said I really busy and I would have to be quick. After a loooong pause I said I really was busy and was going to hang up - which he did.

The second call he hung up when I answered, and the third I answered with "I will call the police for harassment if I received any further calls from this number". He hung up straight away and so far it's been quiet.

I am getting multiple calls from this number - thanks to previous posters confirming this is a scam caller.
