Claiming to be from “compare now” contracted by the “energy company” to talk about a 20% increase in bill. Seems fishy. When I told him I could call the energy company directly, the call was promptly disconnected by the other side without even saying goodbye. Screams scam to me.

Claimed to be from "compare now" knew personal info about me, questioned caller on who he worked for, his accent and where his call centre. blocked number then rang back to check his credentials, they hung up on me. clearly an Indian scam call centre. phone number forwarded to the Scammer Payback channel.
